Stolen Diamond Alibi begins with a mysterious video: your teams have been linked to the perfect robbery. They were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, and now they must clear their names.
Teams have limited time to get their story straight, working out exactly when they were at each location on the night of the robbery. If they can also identify who really took the diamonds, they will certainly be let off.
Each team carries a bag of items from that night. An app guides them to checkpoints in a hotel, resort or city district, where they solve cryptic questions, riddles and photo and video tasks, alongside escape room puzzles such as ciphers, symbol swaps, hidden objects, strange smells and mysterious sounds.
Correct answers earn points and time and location clues for the team’s notebook. The highest-scoring team wins, but every team must ultimately pool its findings to clear everyone’s names.
